AutoCAD Fundamentals

Course Length: 32 hours

Summary: Upon completion of this training, the participant will be able to create a basic 2D drawing using drawing and editing tools, organize drawing objects on layers, add text and basic dimensions, and prepare to plot.

Course Abstract:

  • Understanding the AutoCAD workspace and user interface
  • Use basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools
  • Set up layers, blocks, styles & templates
  • This course covers the indispensable core topics for working with AutoCAD

Audience: Application engineers, technical support staff, technical consultants, instructors

Prerequisites: Drafting experience, general computer experience
