RI Realtors - Associate in Science Degree

The Rhode Island Association of Realtors® and New England Institute of Technology have teamed up to offer a unique opportunity for realtors to earn a college degree.

Individuals who successfully complete the required coursework will earn an Associate in Science degree in Applied Technical Studies (ATS).

The Applied Technical Studies curriculum consists of a minimum of 92 quarter credits. Thirty-two (32) credits must be in liberal arts courses. Of the remaining 60 technical credits, 30 must be in one specialized concentration of technology, such as but not limited to, Building Construction, Architectural Engineering, Refrigeration/Air Conditioning/Heating, Electrical Technology, Interior Design, Information Technology, Plumbing, Business Management and other areas. To complete the degree requirements, the remaining 30 credits may be selected from any number of technical programs offered at New England Tech.

Applicants may be eligible for advanced standing for completion of specific Rhode Island Board of Realtors (RIBOR) courses. Individuals will have the opportunity to transfer credits from another accredited post-secondary institution based on NEIT’s policies.
