Our main CTI team consists of four training professionals who oversee the strategic development of our custom training programs. We work one-on-one with you to understand your company, your challenges and opportunities and your specific training needs. We also assemble teams of our subject matter experts who have experience and expertise in your industry, and who work with us to develop and deliver your custom training programs.
Vice President for Corporate Education and Training, New England Institute of Technology
Mr. Kitchin joined the staff at New England Tech in May of 1986. He directs the university’s Center for Technology and Industry, which runs various contract training programs, Autodesk Training Center, Volvo Penta Training Center and Fiat Chrysler of America Training Center. These programs are offered on and off site for such companies and organizations as The American Boat Builders and Repairers Association, Hasbro, The New England Fuel Institute, EMC, Pfizer, Titleist, CVS, Sea Ray, and many others.
Prior to joining the staff at New England Tech, Mr. Kitchin served in the Rhode Island Department of Economic Development’s Division of Job Development and Training where he spent nearly 10 years working with businesses and organizations developing on-the-job and classroom training programs.
Mr. Kitchin is a past chairman of the Autodesk Training Center Executive Committee and served six years as a member of that committee. Mr. Kitchin is a member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of Junior Achievement of Rhode Island, and is three-term Past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce..
Mr. Kitchin is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Workforce Partnership of Greater Rhode Island and is currently a member of the Governor’s Workforce Board. Mr. Kitchin has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island & Southeastern Massachusetts Propane Gas Association. Mr. Kitchin is past-chairman of the Marine Industry Training and Education Council. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Oil Heat Institute of Rhode Island.
Director of Workforce Development, Grants and Programs, New England Institute of Technology
Mr. Santaniello has played an integral role at CTI since 2006, with a range of responsibilities including development and delivery of custom designed technical training programs for employees, organizations and groups utilizing the personnel and facility resources of NEIT. Mr. Santaniello has 20 years of administrative experience in the area of vocational and technical education – including curriculum development, 10 years of industrial and economic development management experience and 15 years of private sector business ownership experience as owner of a real estate brokerage agency. He served for eight years as Deputy Director for Property Management for the Rhode Island Port Authority, and 10 years as assistant director for the Rhode Island Department of Economic Development, Division of Job Development and Training.
Training and Workforce Development Manager, New England Institute of Technology
Mr. Leigh brings substantial workforce development and sales experience to the Center for Technology & Industry. His professional experience includes business development, sales management in both the B2B and B2C industries, and student recruitment for a publically traded educational organization.
Mr. Leigh served for five years as the Director of Business Development for Health Care Training Services in Fall River, MA. He also served as Sales Manager at both Debt Management, Inc., in Milford MA, and was President and Principal Partner of Yankee Medical Evaluations of Fall River MA, for eighteen years. Mr. Leigh also has extensive experience in student recruitment and enrollment management for both MTTI and for the Lincoln Education Services Corporation. Mr. Leigh holds a bachelor’s of arts from Boston College.
Training Coordinator, New England Institute of Technology
Ms. Cilcius has served as Project Management Service Coordinator, Client Advocate and Corporate Marketing Project Manager for such firms as Arthur D. Little Consulting, Kronos, Inc. and J & J Manufacturing. She has been managing diverse projects for more than 10 years with a particular focus on events and delivery of the customer experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wheaton College and an MBA from Simmons College Graduate School of Management.
Ms. Cilcius is responsible for coordinating training and events for the Center for Technology and Industry and her efforts focus on increasing the use of the college facilities, overall training administration, and relationship development with new clients.
